Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Hits PS4 in April
The ever so popular Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn finally has a confirmed month of when the PS4 version will hit shelves. XIV was released on the PS3 and PC last August and has been growing ever since with somewhere near 2 million subscribers and counting. Now Sony has announced the expected release month of the PS4 version along with some video on what the remote play will look like.

Reported by Nova Crystallis Sony released information that April is the month that the PS4 version of XIV will be released. For those of you who have the PS3 version you’re able to upgrade to the PS4 version for free if you want to. This version will utilize most of the PS4 features really well especially with the social interactivity of the PS4. There’s also a video of how the PS4 version will look and how remote play will look on the PS Vita.
Also, on February 22, 2014, PS4 owners will be able to try out the PS4 version of Final Fantasy XIV in the beta. On December 14th, as part of the 11th installment of the letters from the producer LIVE, Naoki Yoshida will be demonstrating XIV on the PS4 to get everyone pumped and ready for its release. All you XIV players better be ready for December 17th, for that’s when Patch 2.1 hits, implementing reworks on the Warrior class, putting in free company houses, releasing the 24 man raid of the Crystal Tower, and much more.
