The highly anticipated Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster edition is drawing close to release with only a few months away. While this remaster was announced quite a while back lately we’ve started seeing more information on it including release dates and more high definition screens and video. It’s nice to know that it’s getting close and it feels that way too. To further that, the Vita’s version has an official launch date and it is now possible to pre-order the NA Collectors Edition!
For those of you who have been playing Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, be aware that the 2.1 patch that is to be released December 17th. This patch includes some major add-ons to the game like the Crystal Tower Dungeon and the Wolves Den PvP Arena. As a fellow XIV player it’s obvious how excited you all must be. The ever so popular Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn finally has a confirmed month of when the PS4 version will hit shelves. XIV was released on the PS3 and PC last August and has been growing ever since with somewhere near 2 million subscribers and counting. Now Sony has announced the expected release month of the PS4 version along with some video on what the remote play will look like.
Wanting to try out Lightning Returns? Well, if you have a Japanese PSN account, you can! That’s right–Sony just released the demo version of Lightning Returns, but at the moment only in Japan. A costume pack has also been released for people who have the full Japanese version.
Not too long ago, Square announced the Japanese release date for Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster. Well folks, there’s now a date for its western release. Now, remember X/X-2 HD Remaster is a high-definition remaster of both Final Fantasy X and X-2 in their respective international editions. The game is scheduled for release in Japan on December 26th, and now it is scheduled for release in the west on March 18th 2014.
So, Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII was reported to have all the playable characters from previous games in the new sequel, but who knew that a fan favorite NPC will return. Recently Square Enix released a gameplay trailer for the highly anticipated game Kingdom Hearts 3. The trailer was a tech demo of the early development stages of the game which showed Sora, Donald, and Goofy fighting some heartless in Twilight Town as well as fighting the Rock Titan using what looked to be a Disney theme park attraction. Tetsuya Nomura sat down with Famitsu and answered a few questions relating to the trailer.
