The Tomb Raider achievements continue to pile up as the reboot has sold nearly 6 million units, and is on track to beat that by the end of March. The title, which appears on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 is on course to become the best-selling game in the history of the franchise.
Actor Thomas Kretschmann has been officially cast to play the villain in the new Hitman reboot. Kretschmann will be Le Cierq, the chairman of Syndicate International, bent on creating an army of unstoppable agents. Kretschmann appears to be loving villainous roles as he’s also been cast as Baron Wolfgang von Strucker in The Avengers: Age Of Ultron.
The popular Disney movie Frozen has been trending on twitter with fans pleading for a possibility of Frozen in Kingdom Hearts 3. Considered a strong fan favorite, Disney’s Frozen achieved a monumental milestone: it crossed the $300 million mark at the U.S. box office. So the real question is could there be any chance that we see a Frozen world or even a few Frozen characters in Kingdom Hearts 3?
Final Fantasy VII Director Yoshinori Kitase was often quoted saying that the game would never happen, even after late last year a source close to Square Enix said that the game was in early production for the next gen systems. Recently, Kitase was quoted saying that the game is no longer an option and that if it were to happen he would want anyone but Square Enix to do it.
Dual Shockers recently reported that Final Fantasy XV has yet to begin voice over work for one of the most anticipated games of the year. While this may upset a few people, it should be widely known that voice over work is usually the last things for developers to do and complete. Voice over work usually takes about three months to fully complete for those who are not aware of the time table.
With the Lightning Returns demo out, fans have been spending most of their time battling large monsters and competing within themselves for a better score. Its been a while since there was a decent Dragon Quest released in North America, while there have been petitions floating around for Square Enix to listen to nothing has ever caught on. Just recently Square Enix trademarked The Seeds Of A Salvation in the United States which only means that the publisher is planning on using this game for the West. Square Enix just recently announced a new IOS and Android game called Glorious Blades: The Princess of Fate and the 8 Warriors. Not a lot of information has been released; but the artwork does look promising for any rpg fan. Takashi Tokita tweeted that he was involved in the development of this game’s setting and scenario and Toshiyuki Itahana is doing character designs for it. Those are some pretty high quality devs for mobile game is it not?
Tomb Raider Definitive Edition is set to be released on the next generation of gaming on January 28 in North America and January 31st for Europe for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One. There have been many fan complaints that the price of the Definitive Edition should be far less than the original gaming price of $59.99; but executive producer Scot Amos disagrees and shows us why the Definitive Edition is worth the extra money.

In addition to a rumored Playstation 4 release, the new Tomb Raider game could be making its way to the Xbox One and Wii U according to IGN. Following the rumor, Square Enix trademarked “Tomb Raider: Reflections” and the speculation has begun whether or not this is indeed the next gen game.
